New Hours
Thursdays, 11:00 - 3:00

Due to all available staff assisting with Rising Nation River Journey events, the
Center will be closed on Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th.
However, the Center will be open 10:00-4:00 on Saturday,  August 8th, as part of
the Easton Treaty-Signing Event Day Festivities!

New Exhibits

Fulfilling a Prophecy: The Past and Present of the Lenape in Pennsylvania: Our signature exhibit has been restructured! This collaboration between the LNPA and the Penn Museum tells the story of the Lenape people in four stages which align with the Story of the Four Crows. Click here to visit the exhibit page. 

Enduring Presence: Art of the Fourth Crow: Our traveling art exhibit has been featured at Temple University, Haverford College, Arcadia University, and Northampton Community College. If you missed those venues, you can now see a condensed installation at the Cultural Center! This latest iteration features traditional Lenape artists, Lenape artists working in contemporary mediums, and celebrated non-indigenous artists whose work supports the Nation.


New Offerings
​In addition to our educational books and advocacy clothing, we now offer beadwork and other crafts by LNPA artists. These items are not available through our online trading post--you have to visit us to browse our artists' offerings!

We invite private tours, educational programs, discussion groups, storytelling circles, and other tailored activities. Get in touch with requests for private events for your organization!


Same Historic Address
The Cultural Center is located at the street-level floor of the historic Bachmann Publick House at 169 Northampton Street, Easton, PA 18042.  Due to the historical preservation of the architecture, the Center regretfully is not fully A.D.A. accessible: entering the Center requires walking down two stairs (individual stairs, not flights of stairs). 

Established in the true Lenape spirit of friendship, this collaboration between the LNPA and the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society began when the Society asked us to provide a Lenape exhibit for their Sigal Museum. Rather than establishing a colonial business arrangement involving the exchange of money and contracts, the Society offered a place at the Bachmann House for our Cultural Center in reciprocity. While you are in town, we strongly recommend you visit our Lenape exhibit and the other wonderful exhibits at the Sigal Museum, which is in walking distance of the Center.
